Deeply passionate about housing on both a mass scale and for an individual or family. Muzanovic Design was founded in 2021 by Alex Muzanovic. Accredited with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing as a certified House and Small Buildings Designer, Alex Muzanovic graduated from the Architectural Science program at the Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in 2002 and has been designing homes ever since.

Whether working with a builder or homeowner directly, we seek to provide the perfect solution for your home. We carefully take down all details of your project, and provide you a competitive fee proposal customized to your scope of work.
We will assist in collecting information by working with surveyors and laser measurers to ensure the existing condition is fully captured. Through a zoning analysis on the property, we define the parameters we can build within and confirm the feasibility of the design program.
Progressing from conceptual floor plan design to conceptual elevation design, we strive to meet all of your desires. We aim to ensure the final design meets your needs structurally, functionally, and aesthetically. We aim to provide seamless coordination with your builder, interior designer, and landscape architect as we bring your dream to life. While we do not provide these services, we are happy to provide referrals to top quality consultants that we’ve worked with including Builders, Structural Engineers, Interior Designers, HVAC Designers, Energy Consultants, Landscape Architects, and Arborists.
Production Homes
Starting from an undeveloped plot of land, we work with developers and planners to find the best solution to a property. It is critical to not only maximize unit count, but also to ensure that the homes work well within the module and zoning by-law. Rough conceptual floor plans complete the picture and give you peace of mind as you move forward with your development.
At production development, we thoroughly process all site plans, by-laws and reports for your site and take down all details of your design program. Our questionnaire simplifies this process and ensures no details are missed. Working within your parameters, we use our extensive knowledge of the latest design trends and construction techniques to customize a perfect solution for your clientele. With experience in a wide variety of housing forms and elevation styles, you can rest assured that we will design a perfect solution for your site.
Working Drawings and Construction
At the working drawing stage, we strive to provide accurate and realistic timelines. We aim for simplicity and accuracy in our drawings, providing all the information you require without overloading the drawing with redundant notation and clutter.
During construction, you can rely on our responsiveness and speed in helping you resolve any issues that may arise on site. We understand that with tradespeople on site, you need answers in real-time. We are keenly interested in seeing our vision come to life, and will assist you in any way we can.
